In reading the coverage this evening from Boston University winning the Hockey East Championship, I came across this photo in the Boston Herald:
I immediately thought of the following photo that I had featured in my blog last month. Wow, isn’t the above picture strangely familiar to this picture from their freshman year, isn’t it?
Let’s all feel nostalgic and old now, shall we? Sniffle, sniffle.
Nostalgia!
Hello Sportsgirl,
I dont really understand the world wide internet too well. In fact, I am dictating to my secretary/niece right now as just reading and responding to an email is an achievement for me. But I just spoke on the phone with a guy i know that you know as well who helped with the pieces and he said that the posts on Gilroy and Yip and McCarthy should be up, but all I can find is pieces on Smolinsky, Higgins, and Lawrence – and by ‘I’ I mean the woman who is typing, who I asked to search for it. I am hesitant to leave a phone number but if you could talk to the writer who is also something of an intermediary and tell him when I can actually find these wanted articles I would be pleased.
So could you please get those pieces up as I think you know if we have time we will be discussing them on our show possibly as early as this Wednesday, and if we are overbooked we will be discussing the seniors in the final show of the year a week from wednesday. Whichever night it is discussed, we are inviting you and the other writer who helped on to our show, but we were hoping to mention the pieces – even if we do not have time to discuss them – on the show prior to the Frozen Four, That would give our audience a chance to read them and be educated, but I cannot mention (or more likely have my partner who will be in Boston in studio mention) a series of articles to go and read when I have been being told by my source and friend that these articles should be up any day for almost three weeks now.
I hope to see the rest of these pieces soon.
Go Terriers,
Bernie C.
